Regional Activities BEDP WA I ARE YOU GETTING YOUR SHARE OF DHW CONSULTANCIES? Each year the Australian Council of Built Environment Design Professions (BEDP) on behalf of all the professional associations representing these professions, receives a summary of all the DHW consultancies awarded during the past financial year. This summary lists a description of the consultancy, the DHW Project Leader responsible for the selection, the successful consulting firm, the fee for the consultancy and the date it was awarded. While the information on individual consultancies is publicly available via the GEM website, it is unlikely that any individual practice would expend the resources necessary to collect and collate this information into one overall summary. Total value of consultant commissions for the past financial year was $42 million, slightly less than the $45 million in the previous year, due to the timing of letting major contracts.
